Baseball Administrator Update - 1

This is a note to provide you a status update on the current TG Platform rollout across the Baseball network.

As you will be aware there have been some delays in delivery of a fully operational system. We understand the angst this has caused some of you. We have put on additional resources and we are in regular contact with your state association and Baseball Australia, who, understandably – are driving us hard to deliver.

With additional teams working on the development of the platform we are working quickly through a range of releases.

We wish to inform you of the following updates:

TG Platform - Membership Update
The following items have been recently released:
  • Version One of Clearances (find member and action a clearance request in the system)
  • Ability for the national body to refund a payment
  • Weekly settlements with the ability to view and download a printable tax invoice (includes member name, date and time purchased, product name, amount paid, charge and total amount settled

The following items are due to be released week of 7th August, should they pass all final testing processes:

  • Registering member types other than a player (eg. volunteers, coaches, officials)
  • Run a report on who has registered and paid online

The following items are due to be released week of 14th August, should they pass all final testing processes:

  • General updates to the registration form (ability to test the form without data entering the member listing)
  • Ability for other organisational levels (state, association, club) to action a refund in certain instances
  • Duplicate Resolution (ability to fully resolve duplicate member records)
TG Platform - Competitions Update
The Competition Management module for Baseball will go live on 31 August 2017 with training to be delivered to Administrators on the week commencing 4 September 2017. Following Administrator training, competitions can be built and go live.

More detailed information relating to this will be sent to state and league administrators early next week.
