Baseball Administrator Update - 5

TG Platform Administrator Update: Friday 25th August
Please see below for a list of the releases this week, as well as an outline of what is scheduled for the upcoming week.
TG Platform Releases: Week 21st - 25th August
The following tasks have passed testing but won't be surfaced until the initial release of the competitions solution, which will be completed next week.
  • Ability to create a competition (including pre-requisite tasks of season and age group creation)
  • Team Creation
  • Ability to add teams into a competition
  • Ability to add players and team staff to a team
  • Generate a competition schedule (with teams, venues, dates, and times)
  • Enter results for a match via the TG Platform console
  • Ability to assign the Baseball Australia suite of statistics to a statistic template
Scheduled Releases: Week Commencing 28th August
Next week's release will continue to focus on competition management functionality. See below for the list of scheduled releases:
  • Ability to log-out after completing an online registration form 
  • Enter player statistics for a game
  • View a ladder (both public and within the console)
  • View player statistic leaders for a competition
  • Public view of fixtures, ladders and results via the TG Platform Athlete Hub
  • Player eligibility for team sheet selection
  • Allocate Umpires/Officials to a match
  • Publish Umpire/Official allocations
  • Export venue schedule
  • Export statistics for players and teams
  • Allow results entry by a Team Manager via the TG Platform Athlete Hub
  • Attach a misconduct incident to a player
  • Assign teams/players to multiple association competitions 
We will also be continuing to rectify known issues in the system, which are further detailed below.
TG Platform Defect Update
SportsTG are aware of several known issues that we are continuing to have resolved.
These include the ability to extract form information, improving the consistency of the
financial filter screen and streamlining the member log-in process. All of these issues are scheduled to be resolved by Thursday, 31st of August.


This week we also encountered and corrected an issue whereby a small group of members received multiple confirmation emails upon successful registration. This was related to the non-player member type being selected on the registration form. We apologise for the inconvenience this caused.
